I have always had a passion for creating.

Why jewelry?

At six years old, I began to explore the world through my hands. I viewed life through a creator’s lens, and used art as a way to translate the world around me. The first time I held a torch in my hand, I knew metalsmithing would be my path. To transform metal from raw sheet and wire, to red-hot and hammered, and then to a high polished piece of adornment is to play the role of the alchemist.

Drawing on nature for inspiration, my work highlights the delicate yet bold balance found in the graceful strength of an insect’s wing, or the veiled intricacy of a flower’s pistil. This understated elegance is designed to empower to the wearer and enhance their innate beauty.

100% handmade

Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted in my south Austin studio. I transform raw materials into beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art.

How long have i been at this?

I picked up my first sketchbook and pencils when I was about six years old. i loved working with charcoals and learning how to shade objects to make them look 3-D. I was into drawing, making jewelry, sewing and photography all growing up. My first pick for a major in college was fashion design...but when I used the torch in my first metals class, I knew that I had found my passion.

I graduated from Texas State in 2008 with a BFA in metals/sculpture.
